Joke of the day

Joe never studied his Sunday School lesson and Miss Tillie decided to shame him a little.

“Joe, did you study your lesson?”

“Yess’um.”

“”What was it about?”

“Uh, uh.”

Susie, sitting right beside him, was kind of sweet on him and wanted to help. She whispered to him.  “It was about Samson and the Philistines.”

“It was about Samson and the Philistines.” He told Miss Tilly.

“What happened in this lesson?”  Asked Miss Tilly.

Susie whispered to Joe. “He slew ten-thousand of them.”

He repeated it back to Miss Tilly.  “Very good!  And how did he do this?”

Once more Susie whispered the answer to Joe.  “With the jawbone of an ass!”

Joe announced proudly.  ”  “He jobbed ’em in the ass!”
