I’ve never had poke salad, but it grew everywhere on the farm. I never learned how or had the nerve to cook it, because I’d been told if not done right, it would be poisonous and bitter.

No, it doesn’t seem to be available in Canada, but no problem. I’m planning to buy the black and white version in paperback. Very reasonable! I was so happy to be able to read the first few chapters, and am hooked! What a beautiful book!

I’ve been trying to purchase this since yesterday. The free version doesn’t seem to be available in Canada. Every time I try to purchase, it won’t allow me. I’ll keep trying. 🙂
