My husband I are both retired RNs so we frequently spot errors in commercials. The other evening, one of those frequent “Help, I’ve fallen and can’t get up!” commercials came on.
Bud watched the poor woman intently for a moment and said, “I know damn good and well she didn’t fall. She didn’t piss her pants.”
He knows whereof he speaks, having worked on a physical rehab floor for more than twenty years.
LOL, you and Bud make beautiful music together. Hugs.

As a person who is in too much of a hurry combined with not looking where I am going I’ve had some memorable falls. Never peed my pants. Is this something I have to look forward to as I get older?

Um, as an official, card carrying member of the Gimp Society (artificial hips and now a knee, which doesn’t work properly), I’ve fallen. I never peed my drawers. Is that supposed to be a requirement? 😉 I wear Depends though, so the damage would be minimal if so. Thanks for the smile/laugh today! 🙂

My Mother used to hate that commercial. I was told by a fireman once that old people don’t fall and break their hip but the hip breaks first and then they fall down because of it.What’s your take nurse?

I fell once. Really hard. I didn’t pee my pants. I farted.
